Hogsback is a forest retreat with waterfalls, clear mountain streams and a wonderful array of fauna and flora, Ashfield-on-Hogsback is situated centrally between the Arminel Hotel and the Chapel, close to the Plaatjieskraal Arts Trail
The Main Lodge and Africa Wing together form an ideal venue for large groups. Large groups can also be accommodated at neighbouring Moyeni, which has two lovely cottages, see the Country Cottage Collection.
At Country Cottage Collection we go out of our way to spoil you, and give you all the home comforts and fine linens you'd enjoy.
The two double beds in the Main Lodge are Victorian brass bedsteads.
There are two single beds in the third bedroom
Heaters and hot water bottles are provided. The double beds have electric blankets.
There are two modern bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower and toilet. The second bathroom has a separate toilet.
The tastefully furnished home has a wonderfully cozy fireplace in the lounge, as well as limited DSTV. There is also a DVD in the Main Lodge, with DVD's available upon request.
We provide a bookshelf with a selection of books, and an extended library upon request.
We provide a selection of games for families to play around the firesides at night and on rainy days.

* We offer breakfasts for large groups only in the Main Lodge at Ashfield-on-Hogsback at R65 per person; children R35.
* Picnic lunches and brunches: R75 per person.
* Potjie Dinners: Minimum 4 people: R100 per person. Potjie, salad and bread
We recommend that you try some of the many fine restaurants in Hogsback. We will happily make a booking for you.
Children
Under 10 years, R125 per child sharing.
Low Season
R175pp sharing, self-catering. We offer 10% discount for stays of 3 days or more.
High Season
R200 pp sharing. We offer 10% discount for stays of 5 days or more.
Weekends
Hogsback is a country get-away destination. Bookings for one day on a weekend can only be accepted after 10am on the preceding Friday.
